We’re looking for a Full Stack Part-Time Web Developer with 5+ years of experience in web development (Wordpress – WooCommerce) to join our growing team. We are looking for an excellent base level of technical knowledge in the front and back end, and ideally can go beyond these systems from an integration perspective.

About the role
You’ll be joining a team of about 15 at an exciting time, with a chance to have a real impact. Currently, we have the foundational architecture in place, using WooCommerce, WCFM and are in the scale-up phase to activate the online products in selected markets.
The Successful Candidate
The Full Stack Developer is proactive with an ability to build and develop robust, cutting edge websites from the ground up, using modern standards, approved software compliant coding practices and processes. This role receives direction from the Enterprise Architect and Operations Lead. This role works with experienced business teams and stakeholders, presenting unique transparency and value of the work. The IT Full Stack Developer continually learns new skills and keeps up with the latest web technologies.
The Essentials

Able to work independently while collaborating with other workspaces, such as Enterprise Architecture, Engagement, Content Management and Operations Teams

Take ownership of Full stack development (Backend to Frontend), including a 24 hour service level for high priority incidents and problems

Effectively work in an Agile environment and, as required by leadership, related Product Development and Enterprise Architecture processes (e.g. Software Recommendations & Approvals, Documentation, Release and Technical Debt Management)

Handle the full development lifecycle from requirement analysis, design, delivery. While you’ll be working on the online product itself, you will be exposed to many aspects of the business and broader solution, where opportunities exist to integrate and automate processes

Graduated in a computer science, information systems (or related discipline) university degree

In total, preferably more than five years of related experience including more than two years working in an Agile and (ideally AWS) DevOps (CI, CD) environments

Fluent in English, both written and oral

Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
