Purpose of the Role
The Practice Management Community Lead will work within the Practice Management Team and be responsible for developing the Practitioner Community of Spiritualme and Sissoo into a valuable asset for Practitioners.
The Practitioner Community is limited in this context to include all online discussions between practitioners that we support with the tools Zendesk Gather and Guide software. It excludes any Spiritualme or Sissoo community outside of these tools (e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram) as these part of the Engagement workspace scope. Some interaction and possibly content may also be valuable for Engagement purposes, so interaction here is expected from time to time, as it will support indirect development of the practitioner community.
Fundamental to the role will be the need to interact frequently with Spritualme practitioners and occasionally key individuals from the Practice Management (PM), Service Development (SD), Content Management (CM) and Engagement (EN) teams.
Main Accountabilities & Responsibilities.
Strategy: Recommend a 2 year strategy to the Practice Management team and seek approval from the PM lead. Assure the strategy is aligned with our company culture, people guidelines and business objectives
Planning: Translate the agreed strategy into an actionable project plan that is approved by the PM lead
The project is managed by this role - from formulation, execution, lessons learned and revision - every 1-2 years.
The project plan will include:
Identification of community topics and targeted practitioner/s
Definition, revision and governance of community guidelines
A dependency on Content Management as they are technically responsible for community moderation processes
Dates and the responsible person for creation and delivery of each task
Ability to adapt the community to align with our business objectives.
Able to adhere themselves and align community members to guidelines.
Experience & Qualification Requirements
Ideally the candidate for the role should have an understanding and experience in the following areas:
Over 10 years experience in the health & well-being industry, preferably across a diverse number of alternative therapy practices
Over 2 years experience managing a community, with proven ability to increase the community value
Knowledge of community management best practices
Knowledge of community software such as Zendesk Guide and Gather or similar
Experience working in collaborative teams with a focus on “getting the job done”
Fluent in UK English, our company language
Preferable, fluency in additional languages
Ability to work easily in a global, multicultural, multi timezone environment.
